How to play WildGlade
WildGlade is a free puzzle game played on a single sheet of squares. Each turn you pick one of two terrain cards and drag it onto the sheet. The seasons turn as you go: woods grow in spring, volcanoes erupt in summer, the autumn harvest gives you a terrain seed, and Yearbeasts raid at winter’s end. Fill every square and the sheet clears: this sheet’s points are locked into your game total, and you carry on with a fresh sheet.
Goal
Fill the sheet to clear it, and bank all the points you can
Rules
- Drag one of two cards onto the sheet; you can rotate it.
- Scoring squares get a corner star.
- A full sheet clears: points bank, +1 volcano, +1 seed .
- Cards go only on empty squares, never on other terrain.
- Seed: shrinks both cards to one square. Get one at start, each clear, each autumn.
- Seasons end with: New growth, Eruption, Harvest, Yearbeast Raid.
- Yearbeasts take your biggest village and spread; fire via woods drives them off, ★ each.
Score cards
- Water · Long River: your longest one-line river, no forks, ★ a square.
- Forest · Lone Grove: woods patches of 1–3 squares, ★ a square.
- Farm · Paddies: farm squares beside a river, ★ each.
- Village · Manor: your biggest village, ★ a square.
Season events
- End of spring · New growth: Woods grow on the open squares around each volcano.
- End of summer · Eruption: Woods, farms and villages next to a volcano burn to lava; rivers don’t burn. Burning woods spread the fire, and farms and villages it reaches turn to scorched earth. Lava turns to scorched earth in winter and clears in spring; scorched earth clears in winter. Neither can be filled until then.
- End of autumn · Harvest: You get 1 terrain seed, which shrinks your two cards to one square.
- End of winter · Yearbeast Raid: A Yearbeast moves into your biggest village, and more come each year. Spread a volcano’s fire through the woods to drive them off: each one driven off earns a ★.

Questions
Is WildGlade free? Do I need to install anything?
It’s free. It runs in your web browser on phones, tablets and computers. There’s nothing to install and no account to make.
How does a game end?
Filling the sheet doesn’t end it: the sheet clears, this sheet’s points are locked into your game total, and a fresh sheet begins. The game ends only when no terrain card fits anywhere on the sheet and you have no terrain seeds left.
Will I lose my game if I close the page?
No. Your unfinished game is saved in this browser on this device, so you can close the tab and pick it up later. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Which languages can I play in?
English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean and French. Switch on the title screen, or any time from the settings gear in the top right of the game.
What kind of game is it?
A print-and-play pencil-and-paper puzzle, the kind often called flip-and-write, rebuilt for touch screens. You drag terrain cards onto the sheet instead of drawing them, and the game keeps score for you.
What is MiniPnP?
A small collection of one-sheet games you open and play in a browser. WildGlade is the first.
